Certified according to international standards, light barriers and curtains with or without muting functions, safety switches, locking devices, emergency stops, relays and protection columns protect all production systems. Safety switches and guard locking devices ensure that machines can only be operated if all safety requirements are fulfilled. They prevent unintentional start-up of machines and protect against potential hazards. SafetySight Iridio safety camera
SafetySight Iridio is the innovative safety camera that integrates visual technology and advanced industrial safety. Following a request to restart the machine, it performs an automatic check of the area, detecting any operator motion before machinery start-up. This function reduces the risk of an operator in the danger area being involved in an accident caused by unexpected restart of the machine. SafetySight Iridio has a front-mounted RGB LED ensuring immediate communication of the device operating status through different colours for each operating mode. This enables to immediately verify the correct functioning of the system, thus facilitating operations and resolution of any anomalies. SafetySight Iridio is a complete safety device that interfaces with the rest of the system via digital outputs, so there is no need for a dedicated control device in the switching cabinet. Besides, it can be connected directly to any safety controller compatible with OSSD signals, thus reducing costs and installation complexity. This device is designed for safety levels up to SIL 2 acc. to IEC 61508 and PL d, cat. 3 acc. to ISO 13849-1. Dedicated Iridio Studio software has been designed for configuration and calibration of the device, guiding the user through the entire process in a few minutes. Through this software, it is possible to visually check the monitored area, identifying and excluding any zones outside the work area or any elements that may cause disturbance. The SafetySight Iridio device can effectively distinguish tampering attempts from scene changes due to non-critical environmental variations, such as parts of the machinery resting in a different position each time they stop. For applications that require monitoring of large or geometrically complex areas, it is possible to install multiple SafetySight Iridio devices. This modular architecture means the system can be adapted to the specific requirements of any installation.

Sandex: Alpha Series
