Tips for exhibitors

Dear exhibitors,

If you are exhibiting at the trade fair, you play a key role in helping to make the event more sustainable.

Here are some practical tips on how you can make your participation more sustainable:

Where possible, use public transport or carpool with your colleagues.

Choose a hotel that is within walking distance and/or follows environmentally friendly practices.

Consolidate your shipments and, where possible, use transport and logistics companies that employ sustainable practices.

Give preference to local suppliers to support the local economy and reduce transport distances.

Give preference to suppliers who meet environmental and social criteria.

If you are serving food at your stand, please choose locally sourced, plant-based products and avoid using single-use plastic.

Avoid food waste and order only the amount you need.

Get actively involved in the initiatives and discussions taking place during the event, which will support sustainable development in your sector.

Inspire visitors by showcasing the sustainable features of your products.

Take advantage of our all-inclusive stand package and the wide range of customisation options.

Avoid printed information material. Instead, make use of our smart badge technology (storing documents and information) and actively encourage trade visitors to scan their smart badges at your stand.

If printed material cannot be avoided in specific cases, ensure you use reusable materials (without dates).

Tips for visitors

Dear visitors,

We can’t do this on our own!

Please help us make this event more sustainable! Here’s how you can support us:

Whenever possible, walk, cycle or use public transport. Click here for SBB. Choose a hotel within walking distance that follows environmentally friendly practices.

Use the trade fair app to plan your visit and ensure you always have all the important information to hand. Use your smart badge to access exhibitor information – this saves paper and reduces waste from brochures. Please return your smart badge at the exit so that we can dispose of it properly.

Please use our recycling bins for your rubbish.
