Permabond TA4611 – Structural Adhesive for PE, PP and Other Difficult-to-Bond Plastics
Permabond TA4611 is a two-part, toughened structural acrylic adhesive developed for reliable bonding of low-surface-energy plastics. Polyethylene, polypropylene, HDPE and even PTFE can be bonded without primers or costly corona, flame or plasma treatment. TA4611 also bonds metals and composites, including steel, stainless steel, aluminium, carbon fibre, GRP and fibre-reinforced plastics. It is therefore particularly suitable for dissimilar-material assemblies, such as bonding polyolefins to metals or composites. Its toughened formulation provides excellent resistance to impact, vibration and chemicals, creating durable bonds in demanding applications. TA4611 is thixotropic, allowing accurate dispensing and controlled application. The mixing ratio is 1:1. At 23°C, the pot life is approximately 4–6 minutes. Fixture time is around 10–16 minutes, with handling strength reached after approximately 40–50 minutes. Full cure is achieved within 24–36 hours. The maximum gap fill is 0.5 mm. Unlike Permabond TA4610, TA4611 contains no microbeads. This makes it particularly suitable for narrow bond gaps and applications requiring a smooth, aesthetically pleasing bond line. Key benefits: • Bonds PE, PP, HDPE and PTFE • No primer required • No costly surface treatment • Suitable for metals and composites • Ideal for dissimilar materials • High impact and vibration resistance • Fast room-temperature cure • Controlled thixotropic application

Permabond TA4550 – Structural Adhesive for Nylon and Polyamide
Permabond TA4550 is a low-odour, two-part structural acrylic adhesive developed specifically for reliable bonding of nylon and polyamide. Unlike many conventional adhesives, TA4550 requires no primer or additional surface treatment such as plasma. The adhesive also bonds a wide range of plastics, composites and metals. It is therefore ideal for demanding dissimilar-material assemblies, including nylon bonded to aluminium, steel, stainless steel or carbon fibre. Its highly toughened formulation provides excellent shear and peel strength together with outstanding resistance to impact and vibration. With an elongation at break of up to 140%, TA4550 can accommodate differences in thermal expansion between bonded materials, helping to create durable joints under changing environmental conditions. TA4550 is thixotropic and non-slumping, allowing accurate dispensing and making it suitable for vertical applications and gap filling up to 5 mm. The mixing ratio is 2:1. At 23°C, the pot life is approximately 3 minutes and handling strength is reached after around 5–6 minutes. Key benefits: • Excellent adhesion to nylon and polyamide • No primer or plasma treatment required • Bonds plastics, metals and composites • High shear and peel strength • Excellent impact and vibration resistance • Fast room-temperature cure • Gap filling up to 5 mm • Low odour and non-flammable

Permabond ET5428 – High-Strength Two-Part Epoxy for Composite Bonding
Permabond ET5428 is a high-strength, rubber-toughened two-part epoxy adhesive for structural bonding of composites, metals, plastics, ceramics and wood. It has been developed for applications requiring a combination of high bond strength, excellent peel resistance and outstanding resistance to impact, vibration and environmental exposure. The lightly thixotropic formulation is easy to dispense, provides excellent flow control and is suitable for vertical applications and gap filling up to 5 mm. The mixing ratio is 2:1 by volume. At 23°C, ET5428 offers a working life of 10–20 minutes and reaches handling strength within approximately 30–45 minutes. Its high toughness enables the adhesive to compensate for differences in thermal expansion between dissimilar substrates. This creates durable bonds capable of withstanding dynamic loads, shocks, vibration and temperature cycling. ET5428 provides good heat resistance for an epoxy adhesive and can be used at temperatures up to approximately 120°C. Typical applications include automotive components, transportation, machinery, aerospace interiors, marine structures, energy equipment, façades and construction elements. ET5428 is available in cream and black, making it particularly suitable for bonding carbon fibre, GRP, FRP, aluminium, steel, stainless steel, polycarbonate and PEEK. Permabond LH055 – PFAS-Free Anaerobic Thread Sealant
Permabond LH055 is a single-component anaerobic adhesive for sealing threaded metal connections. It cures in the absence of air between closely fitting metal surfaces, creating a durable seal with excellent chemical resistance. Suitable for steel, brass and many other metals, LH055 is ideal for plumbing systems, cooling circuits, pumps, valves and other threaded pipe connections requiring reliable sealing and easy future maintenance. Its PFAS-free formulation provides a future-oriented alternative to conventional PTFE-based sealing materials. This allows manufacturers to reduce PFAS use throughout their operations and supply chains without compromising sealing performance. LH055 has a relatively low breakaway torque of 8 Nm on zinc. Threaded components can therefore be disassembled using standard tools without excessive force or heat. The product also helps prevent thread seizure and lubricates the threads during assembly, reducing the risk of cross-threading. The optimised viscosity ensures complete coverage of the threaded connection. Unlike sealing tapes, LH055 does not produce loose particles that could enter or block valves. Key benefits: • PFAS-free and solvent-free • Easy application and assembly • Low breakaway torque for simple maintenance • Excellent chemical resistance • Prevents thread seizure • Suitable for various metals • DVGW gas approval • KTW-BWGL compliant • WRAS drinking-water approval • No loose particles that could block valves

Permabond MH196 Gasketmaker
Permabond MH196 is a high-temperature anaerobic gasket maker for metal flanges. It forms the gasket directly in place, provides an instant low-pressure seal and can replace many pre-cut paper, cork or rubber gaskets. Once cured, it does not shrink or creep, so bolt retightening is often unnecessary. Ideal for maintenance, repair work and reducing gasket inventory; temperature resistant up to approximately +200 °C.

Permabond A130 Schraubensicherung
Permabond A130 is a medium-strength anaerobic threadlocker with dual drinking water approval (KTW-BWGL + WRAS) — the ideal choice for plumbing and water treatment applications with the highest hygiene requirements. With its thixotropic consistency (1,800 mPa·s @ 20 rpm, 8,000 mPa·s @ 2 rpm), A130 does not drip from vertical threads — the adhesive stays where applied. Threads up to M20 (¾") are reliably secured with gap filling up to 0.12 mm. The breakaway torque of 12 N·m is in the medium-strength range — resistant to vibration and removable with standard tools. Dual drinking water approval (German KTW-BWGL and British WRAS) qualifies A130 for direct contact with drinking water according to both European standards — a rare feature for threadlockers.
