The digital holographic measurement system HoloTop NX enables micrometer-accurate quality control of precision components. Thanks to its compact design, it enables 3D inline measurements directly in multi-axis systems. The sensor can be installed on a number of different platforms. Using multiwavelength digital holography, HoloTop NX maps the topography even of rough object surfaces with interferometric accuracy. The sensor captures an area of 12.5 × 12.5 mm² within 500 ms. Even deviations of a few micrometers can thus be reworked directly in the machine tool without the need to first reposition the workpiece. The acquired images are processed particularly quickly, while data preprocessing guarantees good robustness to vibrations.

STOBER has further developed its One Cable Solution (OCS) in cooperation with encoder manufacturer HEIDENHAIN and launched the next generation on the market. With the future-proof HEIDENHAIN EnDat® 3 protocol, the new hybrid cable can reliably connect motors and drive controllers at a distance of up to 100 metres. The user receives a complete system consisting of synchronous servomotor, cable and matching drive controller. To connect a motor to a drive controller, two cables are usually used: one transmits the encoder data, the other the electrical power. With OCS, a hybrid cable takes over both tasks. With small weak points: If the encoder and drive controller are further than 15 metres apart, the data can no longer be transmitted without interference. In this case, one output choke per cable becomes necessary. This component is expensive and requires additional space in the control cabinet. Since chokes generate heat, appropriate cooling is required. STOBER has solved these problems in cooperation with HEIDENHAIN: They have further developed the already existing STOBER single-cable solution and optimised it especially for highly dynamic applications in drag chains.

Switching of high inductive and capacitive loads The hybrid relay RK 3070 from the POWERSWITCH series is used to switch inductive or capacitive loads, for example energy-saving and LED lamps or switching power supplies with high inrush currents. A triac switches on at the zero crossing of the AC voltage. The continuous current is then conducted via the parallel-connected relay contact, thereby minimising power loss. This combination allows high inrush currents to be switched without contact bounce or arcing. This ensures a significantly longer service life. Typical areas of application are in the automation and process industry as well as in wind turbines. - Long service life due to hybrid technology - Space-saving with a width of only 17.5 mm - Load current up to 20 A

The hydraulic battery-operated cutter B-TC500ND-SC with double piston hydraulic was developed for cutting copper, aluminum and telephone cables up to a maximum diameter of 50 mm (e.g. 4 x 150 mm2 NYY-0). The special cut and the special geometry of the cutting blades guarantee a «straight cut». Because of the snap closure on the head, the tool can also be used to cut endless material. The good handling is optimally guaranteed by the 90° rotatable head. The open head makes it easier to work in places that are difficult to access.
