3D Sensors
3D sensors perform three-dimensional completeness, dimensional accuracy and surface checks. They enable the control of robots, for example in depalletization or bin picking applications. The camera-based 3D sensors work in accordance with the structured light principle. They project several light patterns onto the components to be detected; a camera in the sensor records these light patterns and digitizes the components into a 3D point cloud. The method allows you to create complete 3D point clouds of stationary objects in a single shot. The extremely fast calculation of the point cloud takes place directly in the sensor. Software development kits (SDK) or standardized interfaces such as GigE Vision are used for easy integration. The different models are equipped with a high-resolution camera with a resolution of 5 or 12 MP. Six selectable measuring ranges and extensive accessories ensure perfect integration into industrial systems – both in factory automation and intralogistics.

3D-CAD
In order to better visualise complex constructions or to support an investment application with a meaningful representation, we create 3D CAD drawings up to complete production drawings for you. In addition, the drawing belongs to you and later adjustments can be added to the drawing so that you always have up-to-date documentation. Our designers are also happy to put your ideas on paper.

4,3“ Touch für Wandmontage
Very affordable, modern control unit including touch for wall and front panel mounting. Brilliant 4.3" IPS display in a housing with WLAN and RS-485. Ideal for remote control and monitoring of devices and systems. The new EA PLCS43-DS from DISPLAY VISIONS supports EDGE computing thanks to built-in intelligence. Typical operator screen pages are stored directly in the display and therefore run smoothly and without delay at all times. Data is transmitted via the RS-485 and WLAN/WiFi interfaces. Alternatively, these displays are also available with a LAN interface. An unregulated voltage between 5V and 24V is sufficient for the power supply. With just under 1,000 cd/m², the touch panel is easy to read, even if the sun shines directly on the display. With a 170° viewing angle, it is no longer necessary to stand directly in front of the display - you can read it perfectly even from the side. No false colors or a gray inversion effect cloud the reading, as with conventional color displays. The screen contents and touch functions are compiled using a free tool, the uniTFTDesigner, and loaded into the display. Large digits as measured values, diagrams and easy-to-use buttons can also be implemented in multiple languages using software. The compact display (114 x 84 x 15.5 mm) is attached by simply hanging it on the wall like a picture or using clamp corners in a front panel. Installation in front panels up to a thickness of 6 mm is possible. An even more compact integration directly into a device using a connection via flex cable (SPI, I²C or RS 232) is also available. Other display sizes from 1.5" up to 10.1" are in preparation.

400x300 mm Tray Feeder TF3-HD
The TF3 HD is our largest tray feeder. It is designed to automate custom-sized trays, thermoform trays, and multiple tray types in a single production run. Trays are loaded onto carrier plates into a cassette. This keeps the trays flat and supported during production. It loads and unloads tray sizes that fit on the 400 × 300 mm sheet to and from your machine. Multiple smaller trays can fit on one sheet, which increases production between tray exchanges and operator reloading time. Reloading can be done while your machine is running, so production is not interrupted.

The ae Pulpo Combi Pick marks the step towards a new class of modular multi-gripper tools. The design has been completely revamped: lighter, more compact, and robust for continuous operation.

A chatty microcontroller
PLC controllers typically operate as a "black box" in the control cabinet. The various connected sensors and actuators perform their tasks silently. Gaining insight into their operation requires a considerable amount of effort. The new PLC family of compact controllers from DISPLAY VISIONS is particularly communicative: The controller itself features a color touchscreen that can address up to 50 remote satellite displays – for supervision, setup, and highly customized visualizations. The central control unit of the PLC family is simply called "Core" and communicates its measurement and process data via a brilliant 2.8-inch IPS display. This display has a touchscreen for inputting control commands and parameters. Networking with the satellite units is automatic. The Core has Ethernet and an RS-485 interface for this purpose; it can also communicate wirelessly via WLAN. The measured values and parameters are updated automatically. The satellite terminals' function is not tied to a specific location but is assigned via software – allowing, for example, process data to be visualized on any connected display or parameter data to be entered via another device. Depending on the complexity of the input and output data, users can choose between displays of different sizes for the satellites. Initially, a 4.3" display is available; the product range will soon be expanded to include seven versions with sizes between 2" and 10.1". All variants are characterized by excellent readability, even in sunlight, and a wide viewing angle of 160 degrees. Versions for various mounting options (wall, flush-mounted, DIN rail) are available. The core unit is designed for DIN rail mounting and can therefore be easily installed in any control cabinet. The free Windows tool PLCdesigner is available for programming.
