AI in industry: sprint or obstacle course?
Artificial intelligence (AI) is revolutionizing the industry with rapid progress and offers the potential for enormous efficiency and innovation potential. While some companies are benefiting from rapid successes, others are facing complex challenges. In the future, the maintenance of machines and systems will be characterized by the intelligent use of existing machine and process data. Despite the opportunities, skepticism remains regarding the data collection mania, but the successful use of this data will be decisive for industrial success.

Resource planning meets artificial intelligence
Resource planning is important in every industry. Gantt charts are used to visualize goals such as efficiency and adherence to schedules. In a manual planning process, an experienced planner takes into account many written and unwritten constraints. However, unwritten rules are difficult to incorporate, leaving a gap between automated planning software and real-world execution.
This is where modern AI technology comes into play: By providing planners with a natural language interface they can understand, they can interactively formulate plan adjustments. Eliminating this gap in planning reality is a major step forward in the democratization of automated plan creation.
