Grossenbacher Automation AG is a ctrlX OS partner of Bosch Rexroth and develops state-of-the-art HMI-PLC solutions that demonstrate what automation technology looks like today: open, compact and powerful.
At the heart of the system is the Smart Panel with ctrlX OS: a multi-touch-enabled control panel that combines the HMI and PLC in a single device, thereby opening up new dimensions in Bosch Rexroth’s open automation philosophy. Based on a high-performance ARM architecture (i.MX8M mini-processor), it enables cycle times of 5 ms and applications with up to 4 axes; it is open to apps from the ctrlX OS Store and ideal for the mid-automation sector.
In combination with drive technology and remote I/Os from Bosch Rexroth, Grossenbacher Automation AG demonstrates the benefits of a compact and cost-effective automation solution requiring less hardware and fewer interfaces. The result is a compact and CRA-compliant solution.
