Sublimating 3D scanning sprays are particularly suitable for large objects, paint layers, and plastics. Since the applied spray evaporates after a while, it doesn’t need to be removed over large areas. This makes them ideal for difficult-to-clean objects, including small or delicate objects.
Permanent 3D scanning sprays are ideal for uncoated objects, metals, non-metals, and thermoplastics. A fine white powder layer forms upon application, which must be removed later. This can be easily removed with a cloth, a brush, or simply with water. The permanent spray is particularly recommended for time-consuming scanning processes, as it does not evaporate automatically.
