After-work beer on the topic: "New machinery regulation, what now?"
Input · Exchange of experiences · Networking evening
As of January 20, 2027—after some 20 years—the new Machinery Regulation (EU) 2023/1230 replaced the previous Machinery Directive. It introduces far-reaching changes and new requirements. Areas affected include the language and format of instruction manuals, autonomous machinery and AI, the concept of "substantial modification," ergonomic and psychological strain, as well as rescue procedu
res, monitoring obligations, machinery categories, and conformity assessment procedures.
In our conversations with customers and partners, we observe significant uncertainty regarding practical implementation. What does this mean for the machinery in my product range? What changes for manufacturers and integrators? As an operator, what manufacturer obligations must I consider in the event of retrofitting or modification?
We are establishing a regional platform and cordially invite technical directors, as well as production and safety managers from the area, to an open exchange—featuring time for questions and sharing practical experiences, all accompanied by a relaxed after-work beer.
What to expect
— Presentation on key changes and the legal framework
— Experience-sharing session: Has your company already implemented the changes? What is your current status?
— Networking and open dialogue with industry peers
— After-work beer, refreshments, and good conversation
