About us

The swiss-sonic Ultraschall AG specializes in ultrasonic welding and cutting of thermoplastic materials as well as technical textiles and nonwovens. We develop and manufacture customized ultrasonic systems for industrial production processes – ranging from packaging and medical technology to the processing of nonwovens, filter media, textile composites, and functional multilayer materials in mechanical and plant engineering.

As a Swiss manufacturer with in-house development and production, we support our customers from initial material testing and feasibility studies through tool design to fully integrated series production systems. All core components – generators, presses, converters, boosters, and sonotrodes – are precisely matched to the specific application and delivered as a complete, integrated system.

Our team of around 20 specialists operates with short decision-making paths, strong technical expertise, and a hands-on mindset. Supported by network partners at 11 locations worldwide, we deliver reliable and cost-efficient ultrasonic solutions for demanding plastic and textile applications. The technology enables clean, particle-free, and material-friendly bonding – without additional consumables.
