Meet your basic measurement needs
Every plant, regardless of the industry, has measuring points that are not part of the core processes. But they still have to be measured reliably. This could include applications such as water, coolants or gases. While choosing the right instrument is essential, you have little time to spend on the selection process. And installation and maintenance should not use up a lot of your resources.

Ethernet-APL
Ethernet-APL erweitert die Möglichkeiten von konventionellem Ethernet, um den hohen Ethernet-APL extends the capabilities of conventional Ethernet to meet the high requirements of the process industry, e.g. long cable lengths, easy installation and explosion-proof design. It enables high-speed communication and power supply via 2-wire-cable and is therefore suitable for field-level devices such as measuring sensors. Endress+Hauser offers a variety of measuring devices that are suitable for Ethernet-APL.

IO-Link in process automation
IO-Link is an open communication protocol that establishes a bidirectional, digital connection between field devices (measuring instruments, switches and actuators) and industrial control systems (such as PLC applications). IO-Link operates with a point-to-point architecture in which an IO-Link master controls communication with multiple IO-Link devices. IO-Link transforms simple sensors into intelligent data points and provides real-time transparency and control without increasing complexity. Through standardized diagnostics and remote configuration functions, IO-Link helps keep simple measurement scenarios stable and predictable.
