XPlanar
XPlanar is an innovative levitating transport system in which movers move contactlessly above electromagnetically controlled tiles. Wear-free, clean, and highly flexible, it enables product transport as well as high-precision positioning tasks with micrometre accuracy.
Contactless power and data transmission for the movers
Beckhoff achieves a new quantum leap in terms of machine flexibility with the innovative No Cable Technology (NCT) for the XTS intelligent transport system. This is made possible by contactless power supply and synchronous real-time data communication, enabling individual XTS movers to be expanded into mobile handling and processing stations.
Compact multi-axis system: Modular, flexible and integrated
With ATRO, Beckhoff is presenting a new concept for robotics applications. This is a modular system from which the right robot kinematics can be put together extremely flexibly for any application. A highlight of the system is the internal media feed for data, power and fluids. This has been implemented in such a way that all axes are designed to rotate endlessly.

As a specialist in PC-based control technology, Beckhoff is constantly looking at ways to integrate all machine functionalities consistently into a single control platform. AI support for machine operation too
TwinCAT 3 CoAgent from Beckhoff provides support as an AI - based assistance system with dialog-oriented interaction. This was previously focused on software engineering, but can now also be used directly in machine operation.
